Deighton Spreadmatic Butter Spreading Machines

3 machines suitable for retail, commercial and industrial. Models can be adjusted to accommodate heights of up to 30mm.

The Spreadmatics are easily adjusted to accommodate varying bread heights.

The Retail model is suited only to sliced breads, can be adjusted to accommodate heights of up to 15mm, whereas the Commercial and Industrial models have been developed for both sliced breads and soft rolls to offer increased flexibility.

Retail Machine:

The Retail Model an output of up to 1000 slices per hour, the Retail Spreadmatic has been designed with the smaller user in mind.

The compact size of the equipment ensures that the Retail Spreadmatic fits easily onto kitchen work surfaces. The ease of operation and maintenance makes the Retail Spreadmatic a cost-effective tool for the low volume sandwich manufacturer. Suitable for Breads only.

 

 

Commercial Machine:

The Commercial model accommodates the needs of the expanding and varied sandwich manufacturer. The machine’s ability to spread a wide selection of sliced breads and soft rolls, allows the sandwich manufacturer to utilise the equipment across a varied product range.

With an output capacity of up to 3000 slices per hour the single lane Commercial model is ideal for stand-alone operation but is equally successful linked to our custom-made conveyors to form a sandwich production line.

The spread thickness adjustment offers equal flexibility, allowing the operator to set the weight from 2 grams to 5 grams on the Retail model, or up to 8 grams on the Commercial and Industrial models.

 

 

Industrial Machine:

The Industrial Spreadmatic is the largest model in the range.

The double width model has an output capacity of up to 6000 slices per hour and is

ideally suited to larger production requirements.

Maintaining the simplicity of operation featured throughout the range, the Industrial Spreadmatic ensures that valuable production time is not wasted in machinery maintenance.

The model is easily linked to sandwich conveyor lines, affording the larger producer the cost saving benefits of streamlining production. Suitable for sliced breads and soft rolls.

 

 

Additional Features:

Simplicity of operation keeps machine maintenance and staff training to a minimum.

Product is placed into the butter box, where it is applied to the coating roller.

As bread is placed onto the conveyor and passes underneath the coating roller an even spread is applied from corner to corner of the slice, before presenting the coated slice at the opposite end of the conveyor. Versatile Adjustment

EconoRobe:

The Deighton EconoRobe applies high quality coverage of numerous batters and marinades for a wide variety of product options.

The ease of switching batters between production runs, allows the producer freedom to maximise production efficiencies.

As product travels along the conveyor it is fully submerged into a tank of batter. A weighted top conveyor assists to channel the product through the tank, ensuring the product always remains immersed in the batter or marinade.

As the product leaves the tank an air knife removes any excess batter, presenting the product for the next processing or packaging stage.

A variable speed dial enables the operator to increase or decrease the speed of the belt as required.

EconoCrumb:

The EconoCrumb has been developed to make the automated process of crumbing formed or batter coated product accessible to the medium volume producer.

Designed to handle numerous types of crumb, the EconoCrumb unit enables the operator to enjoy maximum versatility. A single control panel operates the motorised conveyor that transfers the product through the unit.

The conveyor is submerged in a bed of crumb, ensuring as the product passes along the conveyor an even coating is applied to the underside of the product.

The conveyor moves the product through the crumb curtain showering a consistently accurate coating to the remaining areas.

The fully coated produce proceeds to pass underneath a compressing roller which gently compacts the crumb around the product.

In its final stage the fan blows the excess crumb from the product, presenting the product for packing or further processing. The excess crumb is recycled through the auger and transferred to the hopper, allowing the operator to minimise product wastage.

Simple & Smooth Operation: Operating from a three-phase supply, the EconoCrumb can be installed as a standalone production unit or as a link to the forming or batter coating process.

With the ability to flash fry or fully cook all food products, the EconoFry completes the system. From chicken nuggets or chicken kiev, spring rolls or onion bhajis to fish fingers or burgers, the EconoFry system handles them all.

The versatile fryer enables the Food Processor to switch from the frying of tempura battered products to bread crumbed product by making a simple adaptation to the conveyor.

The EconoFry runs on any three-phase electrical supply and is operated from a central control panel. As with all elements of the EconoSystem, the EconoFry can be installed successfully as a standalone production unit or as an integral part of a fully automated line, linking battering, breading, or freezing operations.
